For most phones this can be done by going to Settings, System or General Management, Reset, and then Reset Network Settings.I'm not sure but I'm thinking either his phone did an os update and apn changed or he ran out of data or tracfone.vzwentp apn is wrong but it works dysfunctionally (sudden stopping) and maybe a TF corp rep could get VZWINTERNET to work properly with no messing with parameter required for MMS.
