The Line-X that came out not too many years after I had Rhino done, was a softer material. I think the Rhino I had had a pretty tight texture almost like spikes, whereas I've seen some that look like small dots, instead of pin point. I wonder if they can apply it per your request.

Most bed liner companies will sand all areas 1st to give the material something to grip onto. Then wipe every square inch down with grease and wax remover to ensure nothing causes it to separate. Jan 19, 2024 · Before starting the article about rhino lining vs. line-X, I am going to explain what rhino lining and line-X are. Both Rhino Lining and Line-X are truck bed liner coatings that are spray-applied to protect the interior surfaces of a pickup truck bed permanently. Both coatings are made from a tough plastic called polyurea.I'm a machinist by trade and we rhino lined some parts in the machines at the shop to prevent rusting from constant contact with water coolant. the parts were chrome, we used coarse grinding wheels (about 60-80 grit) and took the chrome completely off. the rhino liner has been on there for about a year with no signs of wear or pealing or anything.
The rhino application is more of a "spray everything" whereas the Line-x application removed everything did the application and replaced everything. Much more detailed and way better end result.
