I think part of the issue with the axle seals is there are not outer seals at the end of the axle tubes. Being down here in FL, sand gets up into tubes and doesn't get easily washed out.Last month I took it in to the dealer for a leak around the right rear axle (where the wheel spins). The dealer replaced the seal and I thought all was fine. Leakage/seapage continued and I took the truck back in for a 2nd time. The mechanic kept it 2 days - inspected it, cleaned the area real well, and drove about 30-40 miles and re-inspected it.
