I've gotten two estimates to replace the fan clutch - one at $700 and the other at $600. My RepairPal estimate came back at $200 to $400 for "radiator fan motor replacement". Not sure if this is the same thing . . . but either way, I'm still contemplating whether I should spend such a large sum to get this fixed.There are two different circuits at the fan clutch -- one is the 12 volt for activating the valving and the other is the 5 volt for the speed sensor. the speed sensor has three wires involved -- 5 volt, ground, and signal.
