Denso knock sensor

I see that most people recommend using the OEM Matsushita knock sensor, but are the Denso sensors comparable? I see Denso is an OEM supplier for other items and is recommended for the O2 sensors, as well as the spark plugs. The Denso KS is considerably cheaper (by just over $60 from best price I've found on the Matsushita)..
