E rated tires are for 2500/3500/HD pickup trucks with their huge diesels pushing out 1k ft tq towing 10 tons. Even fully armored and hauling, D rated is the way to go.Most of the negative issues are really due to bigger, and more aggressive tires, than the E rating vs P rating. If they made tires that big, and that aggressive in a P rating they would have ride quality issues too.
