I replaced both front seals on my 2003 L3130 March of 2013 (both were leaking and leaving 3-4" spots on the floor. March of 2017 the RF seal had started to leak and was replaced.The passenger size was leaking on mine, took about 4 hours from start to finish. I did not have a socket large enough to remove the bolt holding the axle on, so I removed the hubs & axle as 1 piece. Purchasing a haynes manual might be beneficial if you haven't worked on driveline components before.

Another trick that can be done to rapidly expose the location of an oil leak is, after you clean and dry it, to dust it with talcum powder. The oil leak will jump right out quickly as the powder will show moisture making it easy to see. In Oct, 2013 my coupler failed and was replaced under warranty, and 8 months later both axle seals blew out simultaneously.
